Grayson Armature is the only U.S. independent shop authorized for GE medium voltage warranty work (OEM Engineering and Manufacturing data available). Standardized inspection and repair reports assure a complete inspection has been performed on your equipment, while digital imaging and electronic transmission of data assures timely communications, and improves customer involvement in the repair process. We also own our own fleet of truck which allow for rapid response to your pickup and delivery needs.

All Repairs are performed to Grayson Armature Works standards as outlined in our Quality Manual and customer specific standards are stringently followed where applicable.

All of your motors are tested at full operating voltage. AC & DC voltages up to 4.16kV allow for full synchronization of your synchronous motors. Motors are tested on an isolated steel test bed to assure error free vibration testing.

Total Electric Motor Machine Shop

 Grayson Armature is a complete in-house machine shop, which allows us to control the quality and delivery of any mechanical repair your motor may require. We utilized IRD Computerized Balance Machines to assure your rotating equipment is balanced equal to, or better than, API or NEMA new motor specifications. Our back-up generators allows for continued operation during any loss of power, helping to keep the delivery of your repaired equipment on time.
